This is one of my favorite books - period. Ms. Chicago not only writes about a subject that everyone should be knowledgeable about, she also makes it personal. She reflects on her own life, awareness, and mind and how it relates to this human event. I am well-read on the subject of the Holocaust and this is the first, and only, book I've ever found that dares to look at how patriarchy is behind this festival of hyper-masculinity: the brutal holocaust. Leave it to a woman to do the right thing. Thank you Ms. Chicago. As I white, heterosexual, privileged male feminist I honor your work and courage.
